Thoughts on Prayer

I've been reading from Nancy Dorner's, A woman's guide to spiritual power through scriptural prayer. Here's a challenge to me today:

Is my love for God evident to all who know me? If arrested by the enemy for practicing Christianity would there be enough evidence to convict me?

If I were to tithe my waking hours, how much time would I be giving to God?

I also like a quote from Frederick Beuchner that she has in the book:
"To confess your sins to God is not to tell Him anything he doesn't already know. Until you confess them, however, they are the abyss between you. When you confess them, they become the bridge."

Lord, work your love through me today. Arrest my heart to your presence with your wooings. If anything hinders our love, please reveal that to me so I can confess it to you. May other loves of mine pale in your presence.
